Am I Dead?

Dead Like ME?

Well I had a moment of "ah-ha" followed by a moment of "oh-no" yesterday. I was walking into the World of Wally and the doors wouldn't open. People before me walked right up to them, they opened, and in they went. I walked up to them and nothing. I thought "am I trying to go in through the out or something?" So I read the doors. Well no, hell, I dunno, so I walked over to the exit. Nothing. I walked back over to the entrance and nothing. People behind me were fast approaching and I needed to do something! So I turned and shrugged as if to say "I dunno why they aren't working" however as these people approached the doors, they opened! Which left me feeling like a dorkus malorkus! Finally I just followed someone in the door, when I walked in there was a guy standing between the two doors (not where the normal greeter stands) and welcomed me and told me "glad you came in". I want to point out he looked like C Everett Koop. Feel free to que Twilight Zone music NOW!

So yeah, I've been watching too many movies about ghosts, i'll admit this up front because my immediate thought was (heres the ah-ha moment) this must be what dead people encounter! Electronic things just don't swing open for them because it can't sense a physical mass, IE If they are spirit there is no mass. Now comes the "oh no" moment, omg (I think to myself) is this a sign? Is the universe telling me soon I will no longer have this cumbersome body? OMG I'm not ready for that, what about my movie, I gotta finish my movie!

Yeah, these are the wacky thoughts of a paranormal investigator that never really need repeating, however, this is a blog after all.

And before I end this crazy blog, Sci-Fi has acquired a series called "Dead Like Me". I'm sure this is what brought most of these thoughts (I had at the World of Wally) on today, however, I encourage everyone to check it out! I guess it was a ShowTime comedy but now Sci-Fi has it. It's dark, funny, and well written.
